The Northwest Berry Foundation (NBF) has signed an agreement with the USDA’s Northwest Center for Small Fruits Research (NCSFR) to manage communications and outreach efforts.

- Website development with a searchable database of berry and grape research

- Development of social media outlets for disseminating information and broadening the target audience
- Develop research and researcher factsheets to disseminate to the Northwest berry industry and growers.

- Annual conference planning and organization. Conference held every December.
- Competitive research grants management.
- Commission meeting attendance and reporting on NCSFR activities.
- Disseminate quarterly communications newsletter.
- Advertise grant deadlines and research priorities to solicit new and continuing research proposals.
- Organize peer review panels to facilitate funding decisions and advertise a list of funded projects.
